Is there ANY mystery spot photo that can stump Building Place? Seemingly not!--he correctly guessed that this view was of Congress Street (Michigan Ave), looking west from Prospect. Sheesh! Here's this week's stumper. It's of the interior of an Ypsilanti building that still exists, but is now being used for a completely different purpose. Can you puzzle out where this is? Take your best guess; answer next Wednesday!
The downtown library, incidentally, once the post office as BF notes, was built in 1916. And almost razed years later--we're lucky to have this beautiful building today.
Is this the Downtown Library... back when it used to be the Post Office?
ReplyDeleteInteresting guess there, BF...we shall see!
