I'd be more inclined to analogize this to a fax machine, but it is still an impressive application of technology.
Paul: I've thought about it since then, and I might better well have chosen fax machine; I agree. Wouldn't you love to see this machine in action? I wonder if there are any floating around in museums somewhere.
