Wednesday Mystery Spot: Micro-Beautification

One citizen of our city attempts to ameliorate the view with a strategically-placed tiny pot of flowers, attached to a chain-link fence.

Since this photo the plant has been replaced once--at present the pot is sadly empty.

But where?

The burned out shell of the Thompson Block. It's on the west (River St) side; the distinctive bay windows are clearly visible.

Of course it is what is left of the Thompson Block. So sad, I drive by it several times a day and watch it get even worse.

I think it is the addition to Mark Jefferson on EMU campus. Seems like they have been working on that for forever.
