This humble blog is gonna be dark for a few days since Dusty D is preparing for her presentation at the state history conference on Fri-Sat in Troy. Highlight: keynote speech by 77-year-old Fred Meijer!Lots of tweaking of my Powerpoint slides and last-minute fact-checking. It should be fun; last year's conference in Dearborn, which DD and husband attended, was informative and interesting. So come Saturday the pressure should be off and I'll be back to report on how things went.
