Over the weekend Dusty Diary will be posting some of her favorite old Ypsilanti ads, just as some tasty little weekend hors d'oeuvres.Here's one directed towards OLD PEOPLE! Boy, they didn't beat around the bush, did they? Just look at that gentleman! I love his craggy face, introspective stare, and sternly compressed lips. You can tell no old person back then ever said "I'm seventy years young!" Nope--they were OLD.
Which is why, I suppose, they don't call it Alpha Oil.
Just a mordant little observation there.
