No Sunday is complete without the Sunday comics section. With newspapers failing left and right, this hallowed weekend tradition seems threatened. To fill the gap, please allow Dusty D to bring you a selection from the Ypsilanti Daily Press of half a century ago. They hold up a mirror to the mores of the 1950s. Or do they?

wow...comics certainly are revealing about a time period, yes?
Great post!
hehe nice cartoons......
I am glad you liked them, Jen! I'll have some more next Sunday. I grew up with comics in the Detroit Free Press around the house every Sunday, but we only get the Sunday NYT now (no comics!) so I was missing them myself. It's just not Sunday to me without a lazy time sprawled on the carpet reading the comics...
Thanks for visiting, Greener Bangalore! Hope you stop by next Sunday for more.
