Kalamazoo, Mich.--The marriage of Julia Damon and Henry Chamberlain, which occurred last week, has presented some interesting developments. Chamberlain was a peanut vendor, nearly a pauper. Proceedings for license ejectment had been started against him by the city council. Miss Damon, 30 years old, is a heavy property holder here and has considerable capital in local banks. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Chicago. Tacked in front of the vendor's old stand is the placard, "Closed: am on honeymoon."
