Yessirree, that's your professional photographerin' skill right there...as opposed to, y'know, dumb luck and unexpectedly finding that car image later once you're home poring through pix. Skill, I tells ya, skill!
I was going to say, re the mill, that it looks like the big white building is almost in the river! Being a mill explains its proximity. It is amazing how quickly I oriented myself in the past shot though - the more things change, I guess....

Beard dude on left is one of our former mayors. Give me a day or two to find him and we can date this photo (assuming he's mayor when this was taken).

Note the big white mill building behind old city hall has vanished...it was there for many a year though, and from pretty early days...
