One of Ypsi's More Unusual Products

Nothing says comfy cozy slipper like a swastika.

These were made in Ypsilanti--in Depot Town, in fact.

But why?! And by whom?

And why were they advertised in national magazines?

Find out in the Chronicle; thanks to them!

the swastika was around way before Nazi Germany corrupted it and changed the meaning of it. they didn't start really using it until 1930's. before that it was a symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism. That add looks like it was made way before 1930 so i dont think that the slippers were Nazi slippers :)
