Hi Dusty, Been busy with school and haven't been on for awhile. WOW where did you get the picture? That is so awesome, we do ever have a picture that young of her. However my mom said that Aunt Carrie did give some of her things to the historical society when she passed on. But that picture is so cool. She looks like my Aunt Bea or Carrie's grand nice. Wow going to show this to my mom. Thank you for putting it up.
Hi Ms. Redfern, nice to see your comments again. This photo is in the Ypsilanti Archives, in one of the photo albums.
The Archives would be glad to make you a high-resolution copy, suitable for framing, if you like (they ask $2.25, but it's still peanuts IMO for such a cool thing).
So much personality in her face--and a similar expression to her photos from later in life. A real force of character is evident, even in this early pic, IMO.
Hey Dusty, No problem to be back. I missed it. I Am trying to remember if we have this one, but I will show it to my mom tonight and see if see has seen it before. I don't remember it, however that doesn't mean we don't have it. My mom is the historian in the family, so she has all the old pictures. Yeah that is the stubborn Hardy look.

oh, wow. putting a face to a diary...it's like having tea with a ghost.
Now that is some really long hair!
Jen: Touche. How well you said it!
Anon: It's incredible! I wonder if it was every cut since she was a baby.
Beautiful! I wonder where the photo was taken? KP
Hi KP; hmm, at the bottom of the photo (hard to see) it says "Stephenson/Over Post Office." I can double-check for more info tomorrow at the 'chives.

Well she was raised by her father, so i don't know how her hair got to be so long, but that has to be the longest hair ever in my family.
